Beautiful Antique CF Martin & Co Parlor Guitar from 19th Century
Superb Quality, Style 2 1/2 – 17
This Martin Guitar has been dated by professional guitar dealers to be made from an estimated date range of 1867 to early 1870’s, it has the ice-cream cone heel, one of the tuner knobs is not original, the guitar did have some work on it, by TJ Tompson the world wide known guitar builder. There was a very minor crack that he fixed wonderfully, he also replaced the bridge, I still do have the original bridge on hand. I will also be selling this guitar with an 1800’s music book. The guitar plays wonderfully, an extraordinary deep and rich nylon tone. For some reason the first fret with the Low E string only gives back a buzz noise when played. Other than that the guitar is in wonderful cosmetic condition. If there is anything else you’d like to know about this guitar please ask!
