At Goodson’s Music, we strive to provide a smooth and confident shopping experience with carefully selected products, clear descriptions, and honest photography. Each item is listed with intention and detail, ensuring that you know exactly what you are purchasing.
While all sales are considered final by default, we allow limited returns under specific conditions outlined below.
Returns & Eligibility
- You may request a return within 3 days of your order being marked as delivered.
- After 3 days, we cannot offer refunds, exchanges, or credits.
- To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and free from damage, wear, or modification.
- You must provide a valid reason beyond preference, remorse, or price differences found elsewhere.
- You must submit clear, dated photographs that support your return claim.
Return Request Process
- Submit a Request

“Return Request – [Order #]”
Include your order number, detailed explanation, and supporting photos. - Review & Approval
- All requests are reviewed case-by-case.
- Approval is not guaranteed and is granted solely at the discretion of Goodson’s Music.
- If approved, you will receive instructions and (in most cases) a prepaid return label.
- Return Shipment
- Approved items must be shipped back within 5 days of approval.
- Items must be securely packaged.
- Failure to ship in this window may void approval.
- Buyer pays for Return Shipping Label
- Inspection & Refund
- Once received, items are inspected.
- If accepted, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days minus the 15% restocking fee.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following are non-returnable under any circumstances:
- Custom-made or personalized products
- Gift cards and downloadable digital goods
- Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, magazines)
- Health, hygiene, or personal care products
- Items returned without prior approval
- Items sold “As-Described” or marked Final Sale
Refunds & Deductions
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- If we provide a prepaid return label, the cost may be deducted from your refund.
- Refunds are issued only to the original payment method.
- 15% restocking fee for returns.
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.
Exchanges
- Exchanges are complimentary and only offered for items that arrive defective or damaged.
- If you need an exchange for the same item, email us with your order number and photos of the issue.
Gift Returns
- If your order was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive store credit instead of a refund.
- If the item was shipped to the gift-giver, any refund will be credited to the original purchaser.
Shipping Returns
- A return address will be provided only after return approval.
- We strongly recommend using a trackable service or purchasing shipping insurance for high-value items.
- We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
Special Conditions
- We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, personal preference, or price differences found on other websites.
- All sales are considered final once processed and shipped, unless otherwise approved.
