Return & Refund Policy

At Goodsons Music, we strive to provide a smooth and confident shopping experience with carefully selected products, clear descriptions, and honest photography. Each item is listed with intention and detail, ensuring that you know exactly what you’re buying.

While all sales are considered final by default, we do allow limited returns under specific circumstances outlined below.


Returns & Eligibility

You may request a return within 14 days of your order being marked as delivered. After 14 days have passed, we are unable to offer refunds, exchanges, or credits.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and free from damage, wear, or modification.
  • You must have a valid reason for the return, beyond preference or change of mind.
  • You must submit clear, dated photographs that support your return claim.

Return Request Process

  1. Submit a Request
    Email us at goodsonmusicshop@gmail.com with the subject line: “Return Request – [Order #]”
    Include your order number, a detailed explanation, and relevant photographs.
  2. Review & Approval
    All return requests are reviewed case-by-case. Approval is not guaranteed and is granted solely at the discretion of Goodsons Music. If approved, you will receive return instructions and (in most cases) a prepaid return label.
  3. Return Shipment
    Return the item within 5 days of approval. Items must be securely packaged. Failure to return within this window may void approval.
  4. Inspection & Refund
    Upon receipt, we will inspect the item and notify you of the outcome. If the return is accepted, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are non-returnable under any circumstance:

  • Custom-made or personalized products
  • Gift cards and downloadable digital products
  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, magazines)
  • Health, hygiene, or personal care products
  • Items returned without prior approval
  • Sale items marked as Final Sale

Refunds & Deductions

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable. If we provide a prepaid return label, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.
  • Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.
  • Refunds are issued only to the original payment method used at checkout.

Exchanges

We only offer exchanges for items that arrive defective or damaged. If you require an exchange for the same item, please contact us immediately at goodsonmusicshop@gmail.com and include your order number and photos of the issue.


Gift Returns

If your item was marked as a gift at checkout and shipped directly to you, you may receive store credit instead of a refund. If the item was shipped to the gift-giver first, any refund will be returned to the original purchaser.


Shipping Returns

Return address will be provided only upon return approval.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for high-value items. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
